“My son lives on the island and this is my first time in an Airbnb on Orcas. This is the only place I will stay in the future! It is AWESOME and so are the owners. Loved it so much, I stayed an extra 2 days. The house is cozy, beds really comfy, nice walk in closet, jacuzzi was very enjoyable! We didn’t use the fire pit but Todd and Lori had a bundle of wood. Didn’t bbq either but propane was full! Beautiful, quiet setting, everything you could ever need and just a perfect place to stay! Less than 2 miles from town, gas station, deli, little store ( 5 min walk) was hard to leave this morning!”

The house was spacious and well-stocked with amenities, and the yard was large, providing a lot of privacy from neighbors. “Beautiful home on Rosario Point, up on a hill with partial views. We had a visit from a family of deer, the back patio was beautiful and perfect for playing cards, and the hot tub was easy to use. Was great to have 3 king beds - perfect for three traveling couples. They had games, multiple coffee options, and ample condiments and cooking equipment. Todd and Lori were super responsive and included tons of local recommendations before virtually and in a binder. Highly recommend!”

“This house was newer construction, nicely decorated, a decent size and well-maintained. It is right off of the road that goes to Rosario so it is not very secluded plus there is a neighboring house quite close and in shouting distance . I would say it is very conveniently located to get to and Eastsound, it’s at a center point to most of the island. There’s a small view of the water and lots of trees. The main bedroom is off of the top floor, while two bedrooms are on the lower floor. Because of the main road and the accessibility and visibility into the lower part of the house, I ended up sleeping downstairs with my kids. Probably not necessary but if you are a nervous mom, something to consider. Overall I think this house is a good choice, it’s clean and bright and new, the hosts were great to deal with and it’s a great location.”

The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were wonderful and it’s very dog friendly. Our dog even enjoyed the provided bed more than her own! Great hikes nearby also! Communication was excellent. “We had the best time at Todd & Lori’s home! The home is welcoming and full of light with a fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and great, clean bathrooms. They gave me recommendations on travel around the islands that were super helpful and appreciated! They quickly answered any questions I had which was also helpful. We saw several deer munching near the home while we enjoyed our morning coffee too! I would stay here again no question!”

“We traveled from New Jersey to Orcas Island a couple of weeks ago. We are so glad that we found Todd and Lori's home. It was such a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Prior to the trip, I had a few inquiries that they responded to quickly and were extremely helpful. Their home is lovely and well-equipped in every way. The beds were very comfortable and the linens high quality. We took advantage of many things Orcas Island has a lot to offer visitors (wineries, golf, shops, trails, restaurants, etc.), but we also took time to just relax at the house and enjoy the amenities. The grounds are beautiful- it was like having our own private enchanted forest. The lovely outdoor lighting made it a perfect place to kick back after dinner, enjoy some local wines, and hangout with our family. The house has a really sweet vacation vibe, very special place. We highly recommend it. Thank you, Todd and Lori, for being exceptional hosts! We hope to return in the future.”

“We had a great stay at NW Modern in Rosario. The house is roomy and beautifully decorated. Everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The well-appointed kitchen has spices galore, oils, flour, sugar, coffee, and a game cupboard. All of the bedrooms have comfortable king beds, and the bathrooms have fluffy towels. There were treats and special blankets for our dog. It felt like a home, not a rental! Todd and Lori are very helpful and accommodating hosts who responded immediately to our emailed questions. Their welcome book is the best we'd ever seen at an Airbnb. The only problem we had was my fault. I neglected to write down the door code and couldn't access it when we arrived because there was no cell service. We drove 2 minutes to the Harbor Bar and Grill and used their WiFi. (Great restaurant, BTW.) Tip: download hiking maps before you leave the house. Cell service on the island is very spotty. Thank you, Todd and Lori! We had a lovely stay.”

“We stayed at Todd & Lori’s for my husband’s birthday. The space was gorgeous for such a celebration. Our couple friends accompanied us with their daughter, and the house offered ample space to accommodate all of us. The house is in a great location: close to Moran state park and east sound. If you are into enjoying the outdoors but also visiting the town for some treats- this is a great spot for both. Our favorite spaces were the outside deck, large open kitchen/ family room, and fire pit at night. The house is completely pristine in terms of cleanliness- We loved it so much that we are hoping to book again next year-”

“Our time in Lori and Todd’s place was absolutely lovely. The only bummer was our stay was too short! They are wonderful hosts, quick to respond to inquiries, and going above and beyond to offer suggestions for what to do on the island as well as helping us recover something that was left behind. We loved the access to Moran State Park and the nearby trail to Cascade lake. Hot tub was pretty sweet too. We will definitely keep this spot on the list to return to when we make it back to Orcas Island.”
