“My husband, doggie and I had a peaceful stay at Todd & Loris beautiful home. It was such a great price for a huge amount of space, was very well appointed and a great location for exploring Orcas, close to Eastsound and Moran State Park. Lots of helpful amenities for keeping our dog entertained and cared for. Hot tub, comfy beds and bedding, espresso and heated floor in the bathroom all appreciated. I look forward to staying again in the future or trying out another one of their properties on the island. Thank you so much Todd and Lori!”

“Wonderful stay! Large, 3 bdrm, pet-friendly place for our family to stay. Enjoyed the downstairs with pool table and Roku TV to hang out on Thanksgiving. Very close to Mount Constitution and 10 min drive to the nice village of Eastsound. Four deer hung out around the property each day. One min drive to Rosario where we saw a family of sea otters at sunrise and a couple of large sea lions at sunset. Orcas Island was a relaxing place.”

“You can always tell when hosts make customer service a top priority and that is clearly evident here. All your needs are anticipated and provided for. We also cooked all our meals there and had everything we needed. The home is very nicely decorated. Even though there are properties around it, it felt very private. Excellent location. Hot tub is a plus! One of the few AirBnb’s we would consider staying at again.”

“The property is as described. It is located close to Eastsound and great doggie park. It is in a very quiet area with neighbors, but surrounded by trees. Very quiet and peaceful. Home was well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen equipment and streaming services. Door lock code was a little challenging to find in my email, and only gives you a very short time to put in to unlock door. If you don't put it in within 10 seconds (something like that) you have to start over. However, that is the only thing I would change! Everything was perfect and we had a great stay. Thank you so much!”

It was so beautiful and the hang out spaces werer perfect for our group to play games, watch Netflix, etc. The rooms all had nice king sized beds and bog closets, and the kitchen was great for group cooking. We saw deer out of the windows and felt generally private, although the road and neighbors are not super far off. We would 100% look to stay here again when in Orcas Island!”

The owner was also super responsive, stopping by within hours to fix a small issue with the coffee pot. The beds were quite comfortable, the hot tub super relaxing, and I think the part we enjoyed most was breakfast on the deck while watching the local deer family make their morning rounds!”

“Nice place, but a bit pricey. 1) AC is just a single mobile unit in the mudroom 2) firewood is an additional cost 3) no blackout blinds, so a bit hard to sleep in 4) you pay a lot extra for anyone more than two people and an extra fee to their rental company in addition to VRBO 5) only 4 towels for 4 people, which I find a little annoying. Overall a nice place, just ultimately a lot more than we expected with the extra costs.”

I doubt if there is any hotel room on the island as lovely. The place was immaculate and the owners thought of everything to make the stay as easy as possible; beach towels, shampoo and conditioner in both showers, a backpack to use while out and about, nice hot tub, grill, etc. Plus it's conveniently located and central to everything. My girls loved watching the deer pass through in the evening!! Highly recommend!!”

“Lovely house with a well furnished kitchen. Great choice if you enjoy cooking while on vacation, which we do. The hot tub was clean and the house was spotless. The three king size beds seem to have a goldilocks situation with one firm, one soft, and one in the middle so our group was able to all sleep comfortably despite different preferences, which is a truly rare touch in a vacation rental. Overall we loved the space. It was a great way to relax with friends and get away from it all!”

Our great experience started with early communications from Todd & Lori sharing a personalized website with information about the house, the area to which we were staying, and other helpful information. This was a first in all of our previous trips to have nicely organized information up front! While in transit to the house, we received a message letting us know we could check - in early. What a treat! The house is located just a few minutes drive from Eastsound. This location proved to be nicely centered on Orcas Island for ease going whichever direction we headed. The house was just as described in the listing. It is nicely updated and very clean. We found the kitchen had everything we needed to make some easy meals. The primary bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water for showers. Todd & Lori were quick to reply to messages. We'd definitely come back for another stay.”

“We loved our stay, and our dog was comfy and happy! The house and amenities were fantastic, and the communication was timely and informative. Owners were quick with communication and helping us troubleshoot how to watch a playoff hockey game of all things :) No fault to the owners, but we ran into a snag checking in - there is little/no cell range in this area. Just a caution to read the fine print and take a screen shot on your phone of the key code when you get it! Other than that the location was great - close to amazing hiking and entrance to Mt. Constitution. We made beautiful meals right at home with the stocked kitchen and gas grill, sitting outside on the deck under the trees. Hot tub under the stars and sweet little bats flying overhead. Gorgeous.”

“If you want somewhere just a little off the beaten path on Orcas, this is a great option! The house is spacious and lovely, with a big TV and Blu Ray player if you want a movie night in after exploring the island during the day. The kitchen is well stocked (including an espresso machine) and the hot tub out back makes for a relaxing soak. The beds are definitely on the firm side, so if you like a softer bed keep that in mind, but we still slept comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!”

“House was as advertised-actually seemed bigger than in the pictures! Kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of information as to how everything worked and places to go. Comfortable beds, very nice hot tub. Owner came right over when we had an issue with the sound bar. Only suggestion I would make is to have a chair in the bedroom. The bed is pretty high and my husband has some disabilities and needs to sit in a chair when getting dressed....no regular chair height chairs in the house.”

“A lovely stay on Orcas Island. Great location near Moran State Park with easy access to Cascade Lake trailhead. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping espresso with our two pups watching the deer graze in the forest. Peaceful location in a quiet area. House has an open layout with a fully stocked kitchen and large windows to take in all the beauty Orcas has to offer. Floor to ceiling windows in the Master bedroom gave us spectacular views. However, as a particular sleeper, the thin curtains, a firm bed, and pillows made for a less than ideal nights sleep. If you are like me, bring an eye mask and your preferred pillow for sleeping.”

“Visiting a tourist island like this, one might expect hustle and bustle. That's not what the wife and I wanted, we wanted a quiet week or two to ourselves and that's exactly what we got. Visiting in the off season meant some attractions were closed, but the islands held plenty of charm without them. And regardless of how our day went, we were always able to return to this lovely dwelling and relax and recharge for the next day. The house is clean and spacious and well-kept on the inside. The weather didn't suit much use of the hot tub or back patio but that all looked well kept just the same. The hosts were very communicative and attentive to any requests we had, and returning home has been a sobering experience (haha) that has us looking back longingly on our visit.”

“Nice property, I strongly recommend to another guest for Holidays/ Relaxation. We (family of three) + our Pet Lilly had a short stay of 2 nights/ 3 days. I was freaking out because we left our mini speaker at home, but Todd and Lori had our backs! We didn’t figure out the shower speaker but that’s okay, that’s an adventure for next time! “I needed a base camp for a trail race I was doing and thought this place would be great - it was! Prior to arriving, I chatted with the owners about a coffee grinder (yes, they had one), and checking in questions. Very responsive and lovely people. Delighted to see the place was exactly as advertised, and very clean. Night before my race, I prepared a meal and found the dishes and utensils I needed. I slept well and I was very comfortable. After my race, I showered and then enjoyed the hot tub, which was a good temperature and easy to use. I would come back, and I hope I get to some day. Orcas Island is a special place. Those trails in Moran State Park felt like The Shire!”
